Longtime Moline, Illinois resident Joshua Basala was the cherished brother of Brandon Mrazek and the son of Joni Basala. Based on his social media presence, he attended both Moline High School and Sherrard High School. His children and wife Tiffany Basala adored and treasured him.
He was the proprietor of The Sneaker Vault as well as Olde Town Heating & Air. In 2020, during a pandemic, Joshua and his son Bailey hosted The Sneaker Vault’s grand opening.
Inside the store on Avenue of the Cities are hundreds of brand-new and barely worn pairs of trainers, ranging from Jordans to Yeezys. Joshua asserts that the Quad Cities needs a store like this because he has loved trainers for almost his whole life.
For basketball, Bailey and Joshua would travel far and wide, and there were numerous sneaker shops catering to both shoe enthusiasts and athletes.
