Shine up your rides, Scoop 2023 is ready to roll!

A summer tradition is expected to lure thousands to downtown Waukegan Saturday, where classic and custom cars will be on static display for spectators during the day and then “scooping” the streets in the evening.

The annual Scoop Waukegan began Friday with an Open Scoop that had cars parading down Genesee, Clayton, County and Lake streets in loops.
